bracken bothering part 4 – a thrawn, strong, bizm of a plant!
this years tack with a piece of land (thick with bracken but the only space with deep enough soil and not covered in tree stumps to grown anything in )that’s been covered in a foot of mulch, had tatties grown in it and then covered in black plastic for a year.…have dug a trench to break the roots at the border, breaking up the root layer loosely, planting tatties…so far much easier that digging the roots out but the proof will be in the pudding!
